Grace Burke is majoring in Art with Certificate in Event Management and will graduate in December 2023. Her mediums include Oil Pastel Drawings, Digital Art, and Drawings. By majoring in art, she is able to explore different art courses and techniques.

Art is important to Grace because it allows her to express herself and her creativity. She found a passion for art through elementary school. She is grateful to have gone to a school system that provides art classes. Grace’s two oil pastel drawings are part of an incomplete miniseries. She has taken up-close photographs of flowers and depicted them using oil pastels. She is showcasing perspective. 

Grace’s advice to aspiring artists is, “Be creative and do not be afraid to make something new.”
